We are proud to say that our sensor cleaning is one of the best available.
This service includes cleaning of dust accessed from the camera’s chamber. To do this, we use the most demanding methods with the highest success rate. We clean hundreds of cameras per year, all brands combined (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, Leica, Hasselblad and Phase One).
In the vast majority of cases, we will return your sensor to you as clean as when it left the factory. On the other hand, the age of the case and the frequency of cleaning can influence our result. In all cases, we take photos before and after our cleaning in order to demonstrate, if necessary, the level of perfection of our intervention.
If you want to check your sensor
Here are the steps to follow if you want to check the cleanliness of your sensor. First, you must set your camera to the following parameters:
Set your camera to manual focus, on infinity
MANUAL MODE 1/4 of a second at f16 at ISO 100

Hold your camera upright, lens facing your computer screen, making sure you previously set your screen background to white and take a picture.
Then look at the image directly on the LCD screen of your device. Enlarge the image to the maximum value and go about it looking for specs, round spots, traces of sorts or even “hair”. Ideally, it's easier to look at your photo on the computer. If you do that, use photo shop, and once the file open simultaneously press "CTRL" + "SHIFT" + "L". This will put the contrast at extreme values never used in photography but it will show you every possible little spec, even ones you would never notice in your pictures.
If you see either of these, then you need a cleaning. We will be happy to do it for you!
Finally, in order to do a great job, we will need to change the ISO and the camera aperture to have the clearest image possible to see all the dust. Other setting may be disrupted during the operation, it's just like that. Also note that we may have to reset your device and all of its settings because some configurations are too specific for us to find out which setting prevents cleaning, if any. If this is a deal-braker for you, we may proceed to note your setting prior, but there is a 10$ surcharge for that.
lease: Completely strip your camera body (strap, fasteners) before bringing it to us with a 100% charged battery
